The is just stunning and luxurious. I have been to this hotel to attend a couple of conferences and to sit in their downstairs bar. Swish for sure.

The city view room is the cheapest. The decor is so mouthwatering and it looks like the recent renovations have paid off handsomely. All 521 rooms enable guests to enjoy complimentary Internet access. Out of the 521 rooms in this hotel, 42 of them are suites ranging from the Opera to the Presidential suite with open views of the Sydney Opera House.

Walking inside the hotel, the ambience is just awesome. The bar area is great if you wish to have a drink or two with your partner or a close friend. Head up another flight of stairs, and the function rooms and conferencing facilities await. It was such a treat to attend a couple of business conferences here in the past. The conferencing rooms are also spacious and the Internet access is super fast. The Internet access here is on par with that enjoyed by guests staying at the hotel, and by those who use the business centre facilities, right next to the check-in desk.

Ample space for networking is also enjoyed. If you're sick of plain white mints and water, then you're in luck if you happen to attend a conference at this hotel. A variety of sugar based treats like Minties and Fantales are available. Otherwise fresh fruit is also provided.

Furthermore, speaking of space: apparently conference guests enjoy 1410 square metres of meeting space spread out over 18 meeting rooms.

Even if you're not a guest at this hotel, yet you needed to come here for some other reason: their restrooms are divine. The most comfortable and cleanest restroom a hotel can provide. Beautiful ambience and stunning marble. Great amenities are provided. The best restroom facilities by far on this end of the city.

The hotel has ample health club facilities. Anyone can join and become a member at the Health Club on level 4, and She Health Club is right across the road. You're only a block away from Circular Quay with ample access to Sydney's ferries. Circular Quay is also home to some ice cream on a hot day, as well as the Dendy Cinemas. The Sydney Opera House, the Royal Botanical Gardens and The Rocks are nearby. Down the hill, the location is just perfect.

This hotel is also popular for hosting weddings. Many Sydney couples have chosen to celebrate their wedding reception at this hotel. Having looked at the display and the weddings function enquiry suite, they have the wedding decor and table decorations to a fine art. For those wanting to tie the knot, the location is perfect for the ideal wedding reception. There are three different packages available:

Chic - from $129 per person.
Opulence - from $149 per person.
Dream - from $199 per person.

Lengthy drinks packages are included with heavenly banquets and technical support.

Otherwise, if you leave the hotel in the opposite direction, you're not too far away from Wynyard and Martin Place. Walk a little further and you're at Sydney City shopping heaven with Pitt Street Mall. Parallel to Pitt Street Mall away from George Street, you will find many of the top designers and high end fashion stores along Castlereagh Street. You're still closer to Circular Quay, yet only a short walk longer to the hub of shopping excellence in Sydney City.
