Stop the kids from whining these school holidays with this event
Take the stress out of struggling to keep the kids entertained these Easter Holidays with the massive Sydney Family Show at the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park!

This family-friendly festival will feature a jam-packed line-up of events, activities, shows, entertainment, carnival and much more festivities for 10-days, making it the perfect school holiday activity for the whole family to enjoy and best of all, it is free entry!

Some of the highlights will feature Smurfs, Dock Dogs, Circus Avalon, plenty of amusement rides for all ages, showbags, animal nursery and Dodo stage, which will feature an array of performances for everyone to enjoy.

There will be plenty of free events for everyone to enjoy as well as some ticketed events. Ticketed events can be paid by cash or some events require coupon payment. Coupons can be purchased at the gate, including an unlimited amusement ride pass.

Below is the list of entertainment and activities that will be happening throughout the Festival:

- The Smurfs Live Show
The show will be based on Smurfette realising that she is different from the other Smurfs, and begins to question what her purpose. She leaves the Smurf Village and embarks on a journey to find her purpose. Papa Smurf, knowing that Smurfette is unhappy has decided to join her on this journey.

The Show will be held at the Dodo Stage Show at 12:30pm & 2:30pm, with Meet and Greet 11:30am and 1:30pm.
This is a free event.

- Dock Dogs- Demonstrations Performances
Be in awe as you watch these wonderful creatures perform high flying, big jumping, splash zone drenching Canine Aquatic Action as well, as the excitement of dogs drag racing on water in the 'Speed Retrieve' performances and much more. The performances go for 25-minutes approx and will be commencing from 24- 30 March.

Performance times:
10:30am: Big Air
12:30pm: Speed Retrieve
1:30pm: Big Air
3:30pm: Extreme Vertical

There will also be the National Competition which will be held on 31 March, 1 & 2 April. For all times and the competition event, see the website. This is a free event.

- Animal Nursery
Get up close amongst all the animals, including the very adorable baby farmyard animals, including piglets, ducks, chicks, fawns, kittens, puppies, goats, calves, lambs and much more.

Animal Nursery can be found at The Showring, daily between 10am-3pm There is a $6pp fee or 3 coupons.

- Dodo Stage Entertainment
Every day throughout the festival the Dodo Stage will be packed with performances and demonstrations for all interests and ages and the best thing is it is for free!

- Circus Entertainment
Circus Avalon will be showcasing a new show "Circus in the Big Top" and this will feature aerialists, jugglers and acrobat performances. The performance is approx. 20 minutes and is suitable for both children and adults.

Performances will be held daily throughout the festival. Weekdays: 11am, 1pm & 3pm and Weekends: Every hour from 11am-4pm at the Green & Yellow Big Top Tent. There will be a 3 coupon fee per person.

- What's Up Doc? Rabbit Competition
Witness over 100 cute, furry rabbits hopping around at the festival and witness the annual Rabbit Hopping Championship Competition! The event is free and will be held 30 March at 10am, EQ Markets Marquee Area.

- Wheeler Bear Live Stage Show
This 25-minute stage show will feature plenty of fun with a 'Rock n' Roll' theme. The cast will include MC Wheeler Bear, singers and dancers all in Rock n' Roll costumes. It will be an interactive performance which will involve the audience in games, dances and Special Olympic Quiz, making this free event perfect for the little ones!

The event will be held on 2 April 10:30am and 1:30pm at the Dodo Stage.

- Mad Hatters Tea Party
This stage show will feature madcap fun and games, as Alice hosts the tea party with a wonderful guest list of celebrities! The show will also feature the Mad Hatters giant teacup hat game, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee will show off dance moves and teach the audience, the White Rabbit and his cute helper bunnies will hopefully make it to the show in time to help cheer up the Queen of Hearts and her entourage of Marching Cards.

This will be a free event and be held at the Dodo Stage, 30 March 11:30am and 2pm.

- Infinite Dance Live Show Performance
This performance will feature quality acts filled with high energy stage performances and entertainment. The performance will be free and will be held at the Dodo Stage.

Other entertainment throughout the Festival will include games and slideshows including trying your luck on the Smash-A-Dolly - an old favourite, laughing clowns, markets featuring a wide range of goodies, food stalls galore and no festival will be complete without amusement rides!

There will be an array of amusement rides for all ages to enjoy including dodgems, classic carousel, Top Gun, Hurricane, Traffic Jam, Circus Train, Super Sizzler, Disco, Rockin Tug, Giant Yo-Yo, Cup and Saucer, Blue Mouse, Marine World, Palace, Swing Chairs, Inflatable World, Jungle Gym, Jurassic Adventures, Chair O Plane, and Euro Bounce.

There will be an unlimited Rider pass which will feature unlimited amusement rides for 4 hours.

Unlimited 4-hour pass: $35pp or $110 for Family Pass.

With so many things to do, see, and experience the Sydney Family Show will be one festival not to miss out on these Easter School Holidays!

Tickets for unlimited ride pass and coupons can be purchased at the gate or online.
