I am on top of the world (or at least Sydney)
Miss Seven and I have a ritual, which we perform annually. We purchase Sydney Explorer tickets and go on an adventure. When she was a toddler, she would look wistfully at the bright double-decker buses making their way through Sydney, and point. It was her dream come true, the day I finally purchased tickets.

We get the 24 hour tickets, which allow you to hop on and off at 34 stops around the city, joining another Explorer bus every 15-20 minutes! Also included in the cost is the Bondi and Bays Eastern Suburbs Explorer. In the Autumn School Holidays, we caught the bus on George St, and went around the city, including Kings Cross.

We alighted at Darling Harbour. The next morning, we caught the Eastern Suburbs bus from Central, and had a very pleasant morning on the top of the bus, taking pictures and hearing about the history of beautiful places such as Bondi Beach, Rose Bay and Vaucluse. It was a relaxing time for us both, and I loved having the opportunity to hop on and off wherever we desired.
