Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, and on Easter Monday, 21 April 2014, thousands of Christians from different churches and denominations, ethnic origins, and age groups, together with their families and friends are expected to congregate at Hyde Park opposite Sheraton on the Park for the 2014 Sydney Easter Parade and Family Day. Festivities start at 10AM and end at 3PM.
The Sydney Easter Parade and Family Day is a day of fun for children.
The 2014 Sydney Easter Parade and Family Day promises to be a day full of fun for the entire family. Live bands, disc jockeys, food trucks, cultural performances, kids' rides, face painting and a colourful parade are but some of the attractions that await you, your family, loved ones and friends. As an inclusive event, everyone is invited to come and join the event, either as active participants or as spectators. It certainly exposes a lot about the many cultures of the participants and the Christian origins of much of what Australia is today.
