Come to the Sydney Children's Festival which will be held on Sunday, 30 March 2014, at Belmore Park in Sydney, opposite the Central Railway Station. It is an annual free event that promotes cultural diversity and living in harmony, which for the first time is being brought to Sydney.



The event features a parade, games, activities, arts and craft, live cultural entertainment, a poster competition, display stalls and multicultural food stalls. It is part of the Living in Harmony Festival, and is sponsored by the NSW Government through the Community Relations Commission.

The event is expected to help break down barriers between peoples of different cultural background. It will showcase different cultural traditions, costumes and custom, food, dance, entertainment, art and music that make up the multicultural Australian identity.
