If you are a LEGO fan or have little LEGO fans at home, this is the perfect opportunity to visit and participate the Sydney Brick Show at David Jones (Sydney CBD Store) from the
19th till 27th of September 2015.
The Spring school holiday just started a couple of days ago and this is always a 'trying' period for all parents and guardians to look for fun and interesting activities for the children.
The Sydney Brick Show visits David Jones is presented by Sydbricks, in conjunction with LEGO® Australia, for an unrivalled family experience and for the enjoyment of LEGO® fans of all ages.
It is a community event created by LEGO® fans and it is one of Sydney's premier brick events. The show will host a variety of new awesome fan creations, competitions, play areas and even headline pieces from LEGO® Certified Professional, Ryan McNaught. The show is the perfect day out for LEGO® fans of all ages!
Event Highlight:
There will be plenty of original displays and MOCs (my own creations) built and presented by Sydney LEGO® fans. Themes include Star Wars, LEGO® City, Trains, Pirates, Castle, Technic, Disney® Princess, as well as the work of Ryan McNaught 'The Brickman', who is 1 of only 13 LEGO certified professionals in the world!
The children can test-drive LEGO®'s remote-controlled Technic 4x4 Trucks on the specially built track,
The girls can share a friendship moment with LEGO® Friends! The playcorner is based on the realistic setting of Heartlake City where they can join Stephanie, Mia, Emma, Olivia and Andrea in the LEGO® Friends universe. It will also host a variety of activities including daily creative colouring and building competitions and loads of fun giveaways.
The boys can help LEGO® Ninjago battle the new bad guys in town! To defuse their evil plot, the Ninjas-to-be need to master the ancient art of Airjitzu in the Ninjago Corner. There is opportunity for the children to build, rip & fly into battle with the new LEGO® Ninjago Airjitzu Flyers.
During the weekend, LEGO® Club's mascot Max and NINJAGO's Kai will make special appearances and and everyone can have a photo opportunity with these adorable mascots.
In addition to the awe inspiring displays, there is a designated LEGO® and Duplo® brick play areas where children can get hands on to explore their own creativity. It really encourages children to be creative and helps them to be inspiring.
On top of all the fun, this is also a charity cause. The Sydney Brick Show will donate the proceeds to support the Bear Cottage, an initiative of The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
This is a family-friendly event and all exhibitors are volunteers who present their original displays made of Lego bricks for visitors to view and enjoy. You will see some of the best LEGO creations produced by over 50 fans from across Australia. Plus there will be build areas, competitions for children to participate.
This is unique LEGO exhibition is located on the seventh floor of David Jones on Elizabeth Street, Sydney CBD. For more information on the exhibition can be found

Your LEGO crazy kids (and adults) will love you for it.
