If you're a koala lover, you're going to love learning from the experts to develop all you need to know to become a Koala Citizen Scientist to help protect koalas in the greater Sydney region. Following a morning presentation and learning session with koala ecology experts, you'll have the chance to practise your newly acquired skills in the bush. These skills will see you identifying koalas, their key traits, their age, their scat, and koala food tree species. Additionally, you'll learn where, when and how to report your data so it can be used to help protect koalas. Stick around for the Launch from 4-6pm and learn more about the network. Light refreshments will be provided as you get a chance to interact with other koala advocates.
