Mövenpick specialises in providing its customers with signature gourmet ice cream and desserts from its Swedish origins. With a chain of international outlets, Mövenpick officially opened its Adelaide store in January 2015 at 6 Leigh Street, Adelaide.

On Saturday, 1st August 2015 - as part of Swiss National Day celebrations, Mövenpick is offering a free single serve of ice cream to customers until 2pm/the first 250 customers (whichever comes first).

Choose from Mövenpick's range of 24 gourmet ice cream and sorbet flavours - all of which are reported to be natural in origin.

So round up your family and friends and try a scoop of quality Swedish ice cream - on the house!

As someone with Swiss heritage, I'm not unfamiliar with people getting "Swiss" and "Swedish" mixed up, but it's kind of weird that you would do this within the same article - especially given you've just mentioned this is part of Movenpick's Swiss National Day celebrations! But on another note, thanks for the heads up about this. I could eat ice-cream any day of the year, no matter what the weather is. Must be a Swiss thing =P
