‘Tutto il Mondo é un Paese’ or ‘The Whole World is one Big Town’ – and this reflects the warm community spirit you’ll soak up at this year’s colourful .

This lively, warm-hearted celebration is just 90 minutes from Melbourne in Hepburn Springs, Daylesford and surrounds. It runs from Friday the 9th to Sunday the 18th of October.

The convivial festa, stretching for 10 days, celebrates the region’s heritage and strong links with Swiss Italian settlers of the 1850’s, and there’ll be plenty of displays showcasing the rich history of the area.

There’ll also be plenty of arts, music, wine, food and sports events amidst a friendly community atmosphere in one of our most beautiful rural settings, as well as open gardens in all their spring glory.

Performances include bands, orchestras, dancers and Swiss yodelers. Food and wine lovers will be in their element amidst celebrity chefs, several special dinners and events, and tours of wonderful local wineries that follow the traditions of the Swiss Italians who first planted vineyards there in the 1860’s.

Explore the historic Old Macaroni Factory, its stunning architecture, beautiful frescoes and award-winning cafe, while the Pasta Sauce-Making Competition is sure to have a few Nonna’s waving a rolling pin or two!

The festival also highlights the “taking of the waters” at the numerous mineral water springs bubbling up in the surrounding hills.

A street parade and a spectacular fireworks finale are all the more reason to head up for a heart-warming mid-week or weekend escape.
