As a family with young children we are always looking for family friendly places to eat when we are down south.

is a place we regularly return to. Situated on Caves Road, not far from Yallingup, it is a short drive for anyone staying in the Dunsborough/Yallingup area.

On a sunny day the vineyards and the valley behind provide an excellent backdrop for those sitting at one of the picnic tables or on a blanket on the lawn. There are totem tennis sets, frisbees and balls for the kids (big and small) to play around with. On Sunday afternoons live music keeps everyone entertained.


If the weather is not so great the sheltered verandah is kept warm with outdoor heaters and indoors, and inviting couches and fireplaces to keep you cosy.

Then there's the food. Wednesday to Sunday the wood fired oven is lit and delicious pizzas served between noon and 3pm.


And last but probably the most obvious - the wine! A refreshing sauvignon blanc semillon goes down rather nicely either on its own or with a pizza.


The range of other wines is also available for tasting every day and there is a small selection of produce from local businesses available to buy as well.

Definitely a favourite of ours whenever we head down south.
