I love the sculpture of the red lighthouse (?) on top of a boat, and the mermaid is beautiful.

The boat was fabulous. Reminded me of something out of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The mermaid was so well placed on the beach with barnacle type shells on her. It's such a great festival - so worth a visit to anyone within travelling distance of the Gold Coast.
