I am a blogger living in Gold Coast, Australia. Please visit my website at www.sahleeyee.com.
Having a life outside work is precious. Days off are cherished and well spent on worthwhile activities and free events. One of the free events I am looking forward to going to is the Swell Sculpture Festival.
I headed to Currumbin Beach which is 30 minutes drive from my place. When I arrived, there was difficulty finding a carpark. I decide to park in Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for $8 all day and walk to the Festival which took about 10 minutes.
I am amazed how creative and imaginative the sculptures are. They are unique on their own. I can see that the artists really put their best effort to showcase their art works. There are about 60 sculptures ranging from small to large exhibits. And I am given a chance to vote for my favorite sculpture. I hope that what I voted for gets an award. There are informative artists' talks, master classes and children's workshops as well.
