As part of Good Food Month, Sweetfest offers a two day celebration of all things sweet and sticky.

Taking place at the Meat Market, 5 Blackwood Street, North Melbourne, on the weekend of 28-29th November 2015, Sweetfest offers both a range of food stalls, and a series of masterclasses.

For a very reasonable $20, you can choose from four masterclass sessions taking place over the weekend: from 9.00am - 1.00pm, or from 2.00pm - 6.00pm each day. The $20 outlay includes a masterclass session, a glass of Redbank Emily Brut Cuvee, and the opportunity to browse and buy from the various stalls making up the sweetest market in town. Stall holders include LuxBite and Butterbing.

Saturday 28th November:

Morning Session

10:00: Be My Love - Learn to make Luxbite's biggest selling dessert.

12:00: Freshman year - Doug Quint and Bryan Petroff from Big Gay Ice Cream take you through the basics of building the ultimate sundae.

Afternoon Session:

14:30: Check the website closer to the date for this session.

15:45: Queen of tarts - Philippa Sibley, Melbourne's queen of desserts, shows you how to nail baking basics that even pastry chefs get wrong.

17:00: The team from the Black Pearl Bar will share some of their cocktail secrets.

Sunday 29th November

Morning Session

10:00: A sweet session with Melbourne based pastry chef and creator of the Dessert Evenings, Pierre Roelofs.

12:00: Check the website closer to the date for this session.

Afternoon session

15:00: Big Gay Ice cream shows what has made them a New York favourite.

17:00: Black Pearl Bar will again talk all things cocktail.
