The Sweetest Thing Lolly Shop and Ice Creamery
Sugar Heaven

Life could not be sweeter at the The Sweetest Thing Lolly Shop and Ice Creamery in the village of Springwood in the Blue Mountains. Big and little people alike will love the candy pink décor and the walls are just popping with colourful jars of sweets.

The selection of ice cream flavours will take a while to choose from, we tried the strawberry and the salted caramel ice cream, but have the peanut butter fudge, lemon meringue[/B ]and the [B]Cherry Ripe flavours on the to do list. If you are in the mood to share they have some mega sized sundaes. Kid's cones are $1.75 and a single scoop will set you back $2.20. Gluten free ice cream cones are also available.

Milkshake affectionados will not be disappointed either, grab a stool at the bar and order your heart out with some unexpected flavours like custard, Mars Bar, mint chocolate and Portabello. The array of lollies is massive, and includes lots of imported goodies like Fry's Chocolate Creams and a great range of America sodas.

We found the ice cream flavours more suited to a little person's palate, but we loved the retro milk bar vibe and it is the perfect spot to take your kids for a sweet afternoon treat. Be warned though, you will have difficulty getting them out of this shop without a few fistfuls of sugar laden packages in tow.
