I am passionate about discovering new food and places in and out of Sydney.

Life is too short not to have something sweet
What I love about Sydney is the vast choices of desserts and cafes available to fix that sugar craving or just for a nice relaxing time with friends and family. After catching up with a friend over dinner on a Friday night in Perouse Renwick, we wanted to move on to something sweet and our eyes came across The Sweet Spot Patisserie. We decided to pop in and check out what they have and once we went in, we did not want to go out! The spacious interior was done up beautifully with white washed walls, elegant shaped iron tables and cosy cushioned chairs.
Apart from the interior, it was the display of cakes and pastries that was in their cabinet that blew us away. What I enjoyed about their cakes were how creative and appetising they were, with their vibrant colours it was hard to decide what to have. Thank God there were a few of us there, so we got four mini cakes to share. They have a wide range to choose from so it will suit any taste buds.
We ended up with a Mango & White Chocolate Torte, Banoffee Tart, Raspberry Mousse Cake topped with a macaron, and we couldn't go without having chocolate, so we chose a Chocolate Torte. My favourite was the Mango Torte as it was so light and each bite just melted in my mouth. Don't forget to have it with a cup of coffee or tea to help balance the taste.
So, if you are ever down in Renwick and need somewhere to enjoy a catch up with friends or just to indulge in something light and sweet then here is definitely the place!
