All things sweet in south west Sydney
Indulge your sweet tooth as you enjoy the aroma, tastes and colour of the Sweet As Festival this Saturday 10th October 2015. Now in its fifth year, the festival is a celebration of the cultural diversity of southwest Sydney through the sharing and enjoyment of food.

There will be many sweet treats on offer from all over the world including:
Traditional Belgian waffles from Belgian Bakers
Brazilian churros and brigadeiros from Café Brazil
Traditional Djebena Coffee from Ethiopia
Aussie Lamingtons and tea
Sweet & savoury Gozleme by KA Catering

Sweet As is a family event, suitable for all ages. For young children there will be face painting and balloon animals to keep them amused, while Mum and Dad browse the stalls. There will also be musical performances by Jessica Jade (X Factor) and Jasmin Elizabeth.
Entry to the festival is free and there will be lots of samples on offer. Desserts will also be for sale from only $2.00.
Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is located at 1 Powerhouse Rd Casula (entry via Shepherd St). There is free parking available on site. If travelling by train, you can disembark at Casula Station, conveniently located only 100 metres from the Casula Powerhouse.
Bring your friends and family and enjoy all of the international sweets on offer. The Sweet As Festival will run from 10am - 3pm on Saturday 10th October 2015. See you there!
