Definitely the highlight of the Queen Victoria Building, let alone Sydney come Christmas time. It is always a yearly Queen Victoria Building tradition to put up the Swarovski Christmas tree every Christmas, and just about everyone suddenly becomes a photographer on all floors of this opulent Sydney city shopping mecca.

This is a four metre tall Christmas tree with 60,000 Christmas lights, and is beautifully decorated with 144,000 Swarovski crystals.

No wonder this tree takes around 40 hours to install and decorate by a team of 72 people; consisting of technicians, engineers, lighting consultants and crystal makers from both Australia and Austria for all of us to see and appreciate.

It is great to acknowledge and be grateful for all the hard work this team puts into this annual Christmas tree for our pleasure and enjoyment.
