A series of free workshops - City of Ryde



As part of the Sustainable Waste 2 Art Prize (SWAP), the City of Ryde is staging a series of free creative workshops with professional artists. Aimed at those wanting to enter the SWAP competition, the workshops will focus on helping you create an artwork or functional object using a variety of methods including plastic animation, paper cut animation and recycled pieces of your choice. Basic materials will be supplied, bring along any recycled items you would like to use.



Artists and members of the community are invited to enter the competition and exhibition with artworks that relate to sustainable living or waste themes. You can do one or all of the free workshops

There are great prizes on offer for winning entries.
