On October 27, 2018, we went on a Wagon Express tour. We arrived at 58 Cranleigh Street in West Swan 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour to see our tour operators Alida and Peter Watson getting the wagon and their horses ready. We met the horses who were going to be pulling the wagon and were told their names were Johnny and Toffee.

After posing for a couple of pictures in front of the horses, we climbed onboard the wagon. It was a hot day but the wagon had a sail on top of it which kept the sun off our backs. I was a bit nervous when the tour started. The wagon rocked a fair bit so we had to hold onto the sides to keep our balance. When we went out on the road I was worried about traffic but the horses were calm and our driver experienced.

We turned into a vineyard and went on a trek among the grape bushes. After we finished there we went back onto the road and visited Yahava Koffee for free coffee tastings. Our 30 minutes now up, our wagon ride headed back to West Swan.

Swan Valley Wagon tours was a relaxing and delightful experience. The only real negative thing I can say about the whole thing is that it went too quickly. We had a wonderful time and I would happily come back to do it again.
