Showcasing gin, vodka, brandy, limoncello & rum distilleries
Sin Gin Perth Pink

The Swan Valley is Western Australia's oldest wine region and the second oldest in Australia - but did you know it is also home to no less than five acclaimed distilleries!

This summer, you are invited to discover the BRAND NEW Swan Valley Distillery Trail, the only one of its kind in Australia where visitors can experience five distinct and very different award-winning distilleries in less than a day.

Great Northern Distillery

Explore the spirited new addition to the Swan Valley and gain a unique insight into the region's dedicated distilleries which handcraft a diverse range of world-class spirits, including gin, vodka, brandy, limoncello and rum.

Old Young's

On the trail, visitors will find:

  • Old Young's Distillery, where handcrafted spirits are distilled using locally-sourced produce and a wide range of native Australian botanicals. Sample the internationally-acclaimed Six Seasons Gin, 1829 Gin and the Pavlova Vodka while enjoying a good story in the Swan Valley Tasting Room.

  • Harris Organic Wine and Spirits, where all products are made from organic grapes planted, pruned, picked and fermented in the Swan Valley. Harris makes the only certified organic London dry style gin in WA.

  • Swan Valley Gin Company, a boutique distillery located at Pandemonium Estate offering a true grape to glass experience surrounded by vineyards. Sip on the Diablo gin range at the Spanish-inspired gin bar, the Gintoneria.

  • Sin Gin Distillery makes award-winning gins in small batches using local botanicals. Try the Seven Deadly Sins if you dare or the best-selling Perth Pink Sin Gin, made with an abundance of lemon myrtle.

  • Great Northern Distillery has a relaxing alfresco where you can enjoy a classic cocktail overlooking historic vines. Or, take a guided journey through the internationally-acclaimed distillery with samples of the premium Canefine rums, gin, vodka and handcrafted liqueurs.

    Sin Gin

WA Distillers Guild President Kate Sinfield, owner of Sin Gin, said it was great to have the contribution of the Swan Valley's distilleries recognised. "This trail signifies the importance of the area now for WA spirits," Ms Sinfield said.

"These distilleries are attracting a new type of visitor and tourist to the Swan Valley; having the trail will assist visitors to create a new experience for themselves in the Swan Valley and while they meander between distilleries, they will see the other delights the Swan Valley has to offer".

    Harris Organic spirits range

City of Swan Mayor Kevin Bailey said the Swan Valley Distillery trail was a welcome new addition to the region.

"Visitors have always had a great range of beverages to choose from in the Swan Valley and the Distillery Trail is a valuable new addition to the tourism experience," he said. "What better way could there be to support local than ticking a world-class bottle of spirits off your gift list at one of our acclaimed-distilleries?"

The Swan Valley Distillery Trail is the eighth in the Swan Valley suite of WA Food and Wine Trails, supported by Tourism WA.
