SVL Bar - it's all Greek grill to me
Looking for somewhere to eat before you catch a movie after work, look no further than "SVL BAR" at Capalaba Central Shopping Complex. Situated on the left hand side of the middle entry to the shopping centre it is also in close proximity to Event Cinemas.
SVL BAR is a licenced restaurant and has been opened since November 2013. Owners, direct from Greece, Manos and Penelope provide a friendly atmosphere to their family run business which offers authentic Greek cuisine. Their young daughter works with them on Friday evenings and this knowledge brought me back to the days when I too, aged 9, worked alongside my Dad in his business in Maryborough.
All meals, sauces, biscuits are homemade by Manos and I can vouch for the small star ginger biscuit which accompanied my Cappuccino as it was very moreish indeed. Choosing to sit inside instead of take-away, I was pleasantly surprised to pay only $4.00 for my beverage which was served in a china cup with table service.

Their goal is to bring filoxenia—the Greek style of hospitality—to the heart of Capalaba as they also seek franchise investors that share the same passion for uniqueness and quality and to expand to more locations across Australia.
