Join the City of Armadale's Urban Forest team, gardening writers, broadcasters and TV presenters Neville Passmore and Sabrina Hahn, for an enlightening workshop on Sustainable Urban Forests.All are welcome to attend this FREE event on Friday, 27 March 2020.The workshop will be held at Armadale District Hall from 6 pm and feature a panel discussion and Q&As on:The benefits of street treesWhy local governments are planting street treesWhy we need more green space around our work and homeArmadale is one of the fastest growing areas in Perth and with this rapid urban expansion comes a loss of canopy and a greater need to plant and maintain trees, creating what is known as an urban forest.This workshop will build on your knowledge of what an Urban Forest is and what it means for the Armadale community.
