The Sustainable Streetwear Clothes Swap on Saturday 25 January 2020 from 11am to 6pm at Sustainable Clothing Co, 34B Hindley St, Adelaide is a great way to revamp your wardrobe and lessen the impact on landfill at the same time. It's a sustainable way to shop and the way of the future in cleaning up our act to take care of our universe. Not only that, it's a great way to save and take home a fresh lot of clothing.
If you've not done this before, grab a minimum of 5-10 pieces of clothing in good, wearable condition. The more you bring the better. Bring your items into the store along with a gold coin donation to swap your clothing with other people who attend the swap. It's not a swap for in-store merchandise. This event is also NOT a dumping ground for stained, ripped, unwearable clothing. Like you, everyone is looking for good quality, wearable clothing. Excluded items include formal wear, underwear, babies clothing and children's wear.
There is no limit to what you can take home. However please be considerate and only take what you would actually wear so that everyone has a fair chance at finding new garments for themselves. It's a great way to recycle and reuse, rather than having unworn items piling up in your wardrobe. At the end of the swap, all leftover clothing will be donated to the Mosh On Youth Center, King William St, Adelaide.
