First up, zero waste living expert Lindsay Miles is running an introductory session for anyone wanting to know more about the 3 Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle), and why recycling comes last. Next up is energy efficiency expert Arky Elston of Sapien who'll teach you the many ways to buffer your home from the heat, without the huge energy bill or carbon footprint. Lindsay comes back for the 3rd event and talks about her journey, the learnings along the way, and her plastic-free life today.

If you've always wanted to learn how to keep your backyard citrus trees beautiful, healthy and productive, join Kay Roberts-Palmer, the founder of the award-winning Save our Citrus Campaign. If your kerbside bin is still a mystery to you, Council Waste & Sustainability Officers will bust your myths, answer your questions and help you learn what happens to your waste after you pop it in the bin; and what some of the alternatives are.

There's no doubt most of us could do with a bit of decluttering in our lives. It's Lindsay to the rescue again as she dispels the common myths about decluttering, and explores how decluttering (when done right) can be good for the planet. Watering a garden might seem like a simple thing, but there is an art to it. Learn how from Robin and Paul Gale-Baker, and be on top of assessing the watering needs of various fruit and veg plants, while also conserving this precious resource.

The Garage Sale Trail can be described as one gigantic weekend of money-making and waste-reducing fun that dedicated to helping make or save money for all those Christmas goodness you need to buy. Register to host a virtual garage sale and you'll be provided with all the tips, support and promotional materials you need to sell big and stay safe on the Trail.
