Willoughby Council will be presenting Sustainable Food Adventures this October, demonstrating a healthy and eco-friendly way of eating and living.
Raw Cuisine A healthy day of raw food cooking and shopping
Sustainable Food Adventure:Raw Cuisine is a free public raw food cooking demonstration organized by the Willoughby council. The participants will have a chance to learn how to prepare delicious and healthy meals with the freshly picked raw food from the organic food markets in Chatswood Public School.
You will also have a chance to taste the samples and then you can purchase the ingredients from the markets. Maybe another idea for your New Year resolution for 2013? Try a three-day raw food diet?
The weekly organic food market held at the Chatswood Publich School
The organic food market in Chatswood Public School is held every Saturday from 9am-2pm. You can find fresh fruit, vegetables, Asian food, deli and bakery goods and a wide range of quality certified produce. The market is only five minutes walking distance from the Chatswood Train Station. There is parking available at the Chatswood Public School.

Sustainable Food Adventure: Love Food Hate Waste A workshop of waste less and save more
Love Food and Hate Waste is a another sustainable food workshop initiated by the Willoughby Council to teach the public how to reduce our food waste and save money at the same time. The workshop will be held on Saturday 27 October from 10am-1pm. You need to RSVP your attendance before 18 October by making a booking on (02) 97777730.
