The Sustainability Festival on Sunday 2 June 2019 from 10am to 2pm at Putney Park, Pellisier Rd, Putney, is a fun event right alongside the beautiful Parramatta River. However, it goes deeper than just having fun as it touches on sustainable practices we can all employ for a better world. There are workshops, animal shows, face painting, food and beverages, kids activities, plant stalls and more to entertain you on the day. See HERE for the full program. The main stage will have the Welcome Speech to kick off the event at 10.15am and goes straight into the Beeswax Wrap making workshop with Moss House at 10.30am (and 12.30pm). Food Preserving workshop is up next at 11.30am (and 1.30pm), plus there are other free all day activities like the art of Japanese fabric-wrapping workshop aka Furoshiki by Yoshie. Kids can enjoy Animal Show with Live Reptile Displays, or the Recycling Relay, plus Face Painting by Fab Fun and more. Adults can learn from SunSPoT solar tool demonstrations and composting and worm farming demonstrations to garden in a sustainable way. There's a wide range of stalls you can visit and have a chat about how to live a more sustainable life. These stalls include as follows.
