Located in the heart of Neutral Bay, stepping into this modest eatery works well for a quick fix or relaxed meal.

Operating under the umbrella of the Yachiyo group, this includes 3 casual dining restaurants, Sushi Yachiyo (Darlinghurst), Katsu Yachiyo (Surry Hills), Sushi Bar Yachiyo (Mosman) and coming soon to the Sydney City with the common theme of experienced Japanese chef's providing their original signature dishes.

What's different about is that it the quick, takeaway or eat in option, but still with the Yachiyo's taste and ingredients.

A plethora of choice whether it be from the "Create your own rice bowl and salad" photo menu or Sushi Tucker special bowls and salad or the a la carte option to enjoy a fresh sushi hand roll.

A page long of ingredients including salmon, kingfish, lobster, snow crab, prawn, scallops, cavier and avocado, plus a few oddities tuna flake and crunchy skin and usual side of corn and edamame.

Rice sandwiches are also on offer where various fillings and flavours are placed between rice and seaweed and easy to get your teeth into.

There are well-executed standards such homemade Japanese curry, Wagu beef produced by just one seemingly unflappable chef and his assistant.

The current special is the Sumo bowl described to be the ultimate fantasy with tuna, salmon, eel, prawn, ontama, flying fish cavier and salmon cavier.

I opt to create my own rice bowl, with options of steamed, brown and sushi rice or salad as your base. Then its onto selecting a multitude of toppings and sauces. I couldn't go past the fresh tuna, grilled eel basted in a sweet sauce, seaweed, poached egg and the chicken balls.

The first bite of the tuna is melt in your mouth amazing: ruby-red flesh with a clarity of flavour that hovers in your mouth. Drizzled with the perfect amount wasabi mayonnaise, I can understand why the Japanese go crazy for it. The warm perfectly seasoned bite sized chicken balls are divine especially with cooler weather setting in."Like" Sushi Tucker on Facebook and tag your photo of your dish to receive a free miso soup at your next visit.
