Sushi Train, Marina Mirage

Home > Brisbane > Restaurants
Published November 12th 2010
According to the Sushi Train website, there are currently 28 different shops located at the moment in Australia, with more coming due to the different franchise opportunities available within the country.

The Sushi Train which is being reviewed at the moment is the one located in Marina Mirage, right near the delicious chocaholic's centre, Max Brenner.

There are so many different types of sushi to choose from and they are all very healthy because it is made from boiled rice, seaweed wrap and the various seafood, meats or vegetarian toppings served fresh as they are made on the spot.

The sushis are then put on a plate on the rotating outside mini train trac (hence the reason it is called Sushi Train) and the people sitting outside are able to pick one off the track according to their favourite taste or price.

The prices vary according to the plates which are chosen because each plate has a different coloured ring around it and you are able to spot the different varities.

The customer service is great and there was a staff member who would go around to each table and make sure everyone was doing well and giving out recommendations on what should be tried.
