Sushi in the City

Sushi in the City is located in the heart of Adelaide and is one of the most popular places to go when you're running on a tight schedule.

As you walk in you are presented with a supermarket-like fridge, where pre-made sushi packs and rolls are displayed. This makes for a quick selection and easy exit, especially when you're on your lunch break.

At Sushi in the City, a must-try are the double prawn rolls drizzled with a mayonnaise-based sauce. These are filled with prawns, cucumber and avocado (they aren't skimpy when it comes to the filling) and the seaweed is wrapped on the inside.

If you choose to dine in, your selected dish is made on the spot and brought to you, so you can take a breath, knowing that what you're eating is fresh.

What caught my eye initially was the fact that the name and look of the place seemed quite familiar; like I had seen it on television or somewhere before.

Nevertheless, the place is great, clean and definitely worth a visit while you're in town and looking for a healthy place to eat - just don't confuse it with TV hit series Sex and the City. That could get a little awkward.

* According to staff, Sushi in the City will be releasing a new menu very soon, so keep an eye out for their enhanced selection.
