The popularity of sushi as a snack or lunch/dinner meal has been on the rise in the past two decades and these days you cant go in your local shopping centre food court, without seeing an array of sushi on offer.

However if you want something a little more special then pre-packed sushi in a plastic tray, visit Sushi Deli, a small establishment, located on 395 Little Bourke St, Melbourne.

Sushi Deli has built a reputation for offering a large range of sushi, which is freshly prepared and served by the friendly staff.

You can order a platter to share or takewaway or perhaps eat inside or outside the restaurant, which seats 18 and compliment your sushi with either a ramen soup, Japanese curry or teriyaki dish.

A most mains are under $10, which is a decent price considering the healthy servings.

Sushi Deli is open Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3pm.
