My new favourite lunch spot, Sushi Boy Coffee Girl is located at 96 McLaughlin Rd Bentley Park. This little gem offers a wide range of both takeaway and dine-in options. Having dined there on multiple occasions, I can't fault either the food or service.
My favourite menu item is the standard Bento box. There are a number of different Bento options, but my personal favourite is the karaage chicken. The karaage at Sushi Boy is crispy and light, without the oily texture I have experienced eating karaage at other sushi restaurants. The Bento Box offers a generous amount of food for the price. It includes miso soup, rice, salad, a selection of fried items, and pickles. The Deluxe Bento also includes dessert.
The other thing worth raving about, as the name of the restaurant suggests, is the coffee. As well as the standard range of cafe drinks, the restaurant has recently started offering more exotic options such as the sweet potato spiced latte.
Sushi Boy Coffee Girl successfully caters for almost any occasion; whether you're looking for a quick bite to eat, a coffee catch-up with friends, or a sit-down dinner. If you're in the area I would highly recommend giving it a go.
