Celebrate the stories and tales of Surry Hills at this annual spring festival being held in and around Surry Hills, from Ward Park, Shannon Reserve, Crown Street and Hill Street to various laneways and pop up spaces. Featuring flash discos, dog shows, live bands and art installations – this year's festival honours the stories behind the suburb while raising cash for the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre.

Creative Trail and Guided Tours Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre and Surry Hills Creative Precinct have teamed up with Urban Walkabout to present the Surry Hills Creative Trail and Guided Tours. Dress up your pet
Dog Shows and Pooch Photo Booth Ward Park will host the We Love Animals Dog Show with prizes and giveaways for the best dressed pooches and the pooch with the best tricks. So hurry and get your furry friends ready and in training for their big event and be sure to register them at 9.30am. Entry by donation. For those of you who like to dress up their pets, head over to the Pet Fancy Dress Booth where top hats, feather boas and tutus will be available to take some fancy shots of Fido in his dressy best.
