A fantastic family-friendly community festival not to miss
The Surry Hills Festival will be a presentation and fabulous celebration of all there is to love about this dynamic urban community.

There will be a massive line-up of entertainment and events for all ages and interests including activities, games, carnival festivities, trail tours, interactive activities, art and craft, live music, market stalls, food galore and much more.

Funds raised throughout the festival will support community programs, which will be presented by Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre.

Highlights of the festival will include:

Ward Park Events:

Dog Shows
1960s Fancy Flower Dress Competition
Giant Jumping Castle, face painting and children's circus workshops
Environment Hub
Games and activities for all ages
Global Market which will feature fresh produce and food from around the world
Chilli, Chocolate, Flower & Art Market

Shannon Reserve Events:

There will be a spring picnic and bar transforming to a festival hub by night
Live music bands
- Bespoke Markets and eateries
- Performances
- Festival After Party at The Clock Hotel, 479 Crown St- 8pm-Midnight
- Surry Hills Markets

Northcott Community Centre Events (11am-4pm):

- Threatened Species Children's Art Workshops
- Exhibits of artworks by local children.
- Free Art Workshops

Old 1880 St Peters Church Hall (235 Devonshire St- 10am-5pm):

- Retro Record Fair
- Microflix Festival

Tudor Reserve Events (12pm-5pm):

- Performance by students of the Australian Institute of Music
