This restaurant is no longer trading.

Located within Parafield Shopping Plaza, SuriTenshi is a great place to enjoy Japanese and Korean cuisine. It is run by a single woman who does a very good job of preparing the food which comes out piping hot. During our visit, we ordered the 'Teriyaki Salmon', 'Hot-Stone Bibimbap' and 'Chilli Chicken'.

The perfect dish for cold days, 'Hot-Stone Bibimbap' consists of stir-fried Wagyu beef, vegetables and an egg yolk on top of rice served in a hot stone bowl. To eat it, squeeze in your desired amount of the provided chilli sauce before stirring it to mix in the ingredients. The beef was cooked to the correct 'doneness' with the vegetables complementing it nicely, with the best part being the 'crust' at the sides of the bowl.

The salmon in the 'Teriyaki Salmon' was fresh with none of the fishy taste that is sometimes wrongly associated with seafood. It was cooked to the point where it flakes easily with the teriyaki sauce enhancing its flavour without overwhelming it. The fried cabbage and onions were good partners to the salmon with a drizzling of Japanese mayonnaise completing the dish.

SuriTenshi's 'Chilli Chicken' had chicken that was tender with a delectable spicy hit from the chilli sauce. It had a bit of extra texture coming from the beansprouts and vegetables that were cooked with the chicken. The bed of rice that the chicken was served on was a wonderful counterbalance to the spiciness of the chicken.

The place had a relaxed atmosphere with room for about 16 people. Plenty of off-street parking is available in the Parafield Shopping Plaza car park.
