On Friday the 28th of October 2016, at the new time of 3:15pm - 7:30pm, Surfside Primary School will be holding their annual Fresh Food Fair.
The Fresh Food Fair is a popular event in the Ocean Grove community, and always delivers a fantastic range of food, entertainment, rides, local produce and more. It is the major fundraiser for the school's well-known Kitchen Garden Program, so by coming along to enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment, you're also helping to support this valuable program.
Children from grades 3 to 6 have the chance to grow their own produce and prepare meals to share as part of the Kitchen Garden Program

This year, there will be a great selection of rides and attractions for the kids, including the Fun Farm, Jumping Castle, Chair O Plane, Wild One Roller Coaster Challenge and the Cha Cha.
Wrist bands will be available for school age and pre-school age children, and usually work out to be cheaper than purchasing single tickets for children who like to try out all of the rides (or who like to go on their favourite ride several times).
The Atomic Drop was one of the popular attractions at last year's fair
The food stalls are always very popular, with a great range of hot and cold food, and vegetarian options will be available.
Other regular stalls to check out include the Cake Stall, the Plant Stall (where you can pick up some well-priced seedlings and plants), the Lucky Jar Stall, and the White Elephant Stall, where you can always find plenty of bargains. Items at the White Elephant Stall usually include clothing, books, trinkets and jewellery, toys, homewares and even furniture.
Make sure you remember to stock up on the delicious jams and sauces, made by the students.
If you are a business owner and would like to get involved via sponsorship, a market stallholders who is interested in purchasing a spot at the fair, or if you would like to offer support via donations, please contact the school for more information.
