Lennox Head is a postcard perfect beach side township famed by the surfing community far and wide for its peeling right-hand point-break.



On Saturday June 3rd Lennox Head's surfers, townsfolk and businesses come together to showcase everything else the town has to offer the visitor.

In its fourth year the Surfit Love Lennox Festival offers something for everyone and all age groups, your canine furry friends are even included;

For the kids and young at heart there is face painting, a jumping castle, Zumba and Old McDonalds Farm.

For the adults and kids alike, Flavours of Lennox, the Lennox Head Surfboard Swap Meet, main street retailers and the sounds of talented local musicians busking.

For your canine furry friends, Dogs of Lennox a dog show with a difference, the Peanut Butter Challenge a highlight.


Taste your way through the Main Street of Lennox Head with the Flavours of Lennox $5.00 signature dishes being offered by local foodie businesses and stallholders. Have your say voting for the People's Choice Award winner.



If you have a pooch or two in the family, make sure you bring them along and enter them in The Canine Perspective Dogs of Lennox mini events; Best Trick, Best Dressed, Cutest Puppy, Waggiest Tail and the Peanut Butter Challange. The cost of entry is $2.00 and all proceeds will go to MindDog .



The Lennox Head Surfboard Swap meet presented by Boat Channel Boardracks will take place on the foreshore near the intersection of Ballina & Byron Streets. Collectable boards will be judged for prizes including;

Best Pre-60's board
Best 60's Board
Best 70's Single Fin
Best 80's Thruster
Best Kneeboard

Dig out your old board from the deeps of your garage and have it judged by special guest judges including some of the legendary shapers of the eras for the price of a gold coin donation. Funds raised will be donated to The Disabled Surfers Association of Australia.



Warm up for Winter at this all day family and dog-friendly festival. Lennox Head is an easy day trip from the Gold Coast or Brisbane and a short drive 15 minutes south of Byron Bay. Be sure to arrive early and plan to stay late.
