building is located across the road from Surfers Paradise beach, one of Queensland's most famous beaches and near Cavill Avenue, considered to be the heart of the Gold Coast.
Beachfront apartments with stunning ocean views feature one and two bedroom self-contained units with private balconies and great facilities, including an exercise room, 20 metre heated swimming pool and indoor heated spa and sauna as well as undercover parking.
Reception staff offer free helpful advice and can arrange shuttles and various tours. If you need access to the internet, broadband connection is available throughout the hotel.
Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave oven. Several supermarkets are within walking distance, so you can easily stock up and prepare your meals. And whilst you're at it, pick up some sausages and cook them by the pool at the hotel's barbeques, which are available for all guests to use.
The apartments are spacious and include a good size dining area as well as a lounge room and offer complimentary Austar Cable TV.
location makes this a great spot to stay for holidays or weekend getaways. Just a short walk to Surfers Paradise major attractions and a large variety of restaurants, you won't have time to sit still.
Whilst we loved staying in this apartment building, the only downside we found was that the walls were thin and we could hear the neighbours partying until very late into the night.
The best way to start exploring Surfers Paradise is atop
SkyPoint Observation Deck, located on Level 77 and 78 of the Q1 Resort building. Grab a bite to eat from the licensed cafe and bar and enjoy the incredible 360 degree views of the Gold Coast.
Another great place to visit is
Ripley's Believe It Or Not, a museum of the bizarre, unusual, fantastic or just plain weird. See rare shrunken heads and dinosaur eggs or measure yourself against Robert Wadlow, who stands at 8'11".
Venture into
Infinity, a mind-blowing walk through 20 futuristic, maze-like 'worlds of wonder' filled with special effects, atmospheric sound fields and illusions. An interactive experience and fun for kids of all ages.
Strike Bowling Bar is situated in the middle of the entertainment precinct on Cavill Avenue and features 12 high-tech bowling lanes, karaoke rooms and a cocktail bar.
Face your darkest fears in
Dracula's Haunted House. With five levels of interactive spooky exhibits, this haunted house is family friendly, and great for young and old.
If you plan to indulge in retail therapy, you won't be disappointed. Surfers Paradise offers some of the best shopping opportunities. Five shopping arcades and centers, show off the latest in women's men's and kids' fashions, art, jewellery, gifts and unique homewares.
At night, venture to one of the many restaurants, bars or nightclubs and dance the night away. Some of the most popular spots include Fix Bar, Stingray, Central Lounge Bar, Swinging Safari, The Avenue and Hard Rock Café.
Gold Coast is one of Australia's most popular holiday destinations with over 70km of beautiful beaches, lush rainforest hinterland, fun theme parks, incredible entertainment facilities and an exciting calendar of special events.
