Sip a milkshake and enjoy a burger after a swim or big night

The Surfers Beach Cafe and Takeaway is located across the road from the beautiful Surfers Paradise Beach, just off Cavill Mall.

If you're looking for fine dining you won't find it here. What you will find is cheap eats and hearty big meals dedicated to filling hungry stomachs. This is not high quality, the chairs are a little wobbly due to the pavement being a bit uneven, and I saw some cleaning sprays on the side bench (at least it's clean), but if you're feeling a little seedy from the night before or if you've just had a big swim in the ocean and feel like a big hamburger or fish and chips, then this is the place to come.

They have the biggest assortment of sauces and condiments I've ever seen in any cafe. Like little soldiers they all line up over to the side ready to be used. No more will you wish for more tomato sauce with your chips.

What is good about the Surfers Beach Cafe and Takeaway is the prices. One walk around the Cavill Mall area tells you that most meals are around $20 per person. Sometimes you just want a quick bite to eat without having to take out a second mortgage.

At this cafe you will find fantastic views as it's right across the road from the beach, and cheap prices. They even serve old fashioned milkshakes which is cool for that authentic beach experience.

The chairs and tables are on the sidewalk but there are plenty of them and they're under shade.

So if you're looking for a basic meal when you're just wanting something filling and greasy after a big swim or big night out, then this is definitely the place to come.

The breakfasts and milkshakes are the best. We were at surfers last week on holidays and went to breaky there a few times, exquisite. The staff were very helpful, friendly and nothing was a bother for them. I would recommend this cafe to my friends and will definitely come back again.
