Days after a whirlwind trip to Italy (for research, of course), author Fiona Palmer is on her way back to Perth this week for a Stories on Stage event - no time for jetlag for this busy woman!
The Pingaring-based author has just released her fifth book,
The Outback Heart, and she's all set to answer questions from her fans on
October 16 at Koorliny Arts Centre.
Aside from talking about her Italian research trip, Fiona will talk about growing up in a rural area, the road to publication and
The Outback Heart. There's still time to book for the event ... and there will be brownies after the talk!
Stories on Stage is a fun night held in a theatre and including an author talk, Q&A session, meet and greet over a tasty home-baked treats, book sales and signings. It runs for about 2 hours. This centre has hosted authors including Kim Scott, Dawn Barker, Sara Foster and Liz Byrski as part of Stories on Stage and is looking forward to more author events in 2014.
Koorliny Arts Centre is on Sulphur Road, Kwinana. To go on the mailing list for Stories on Stage events,

Tickets cost $15 and can be booked online at
Koorliny Arts Centre or by calling 9467 7118.
