A foodie tour of Chinatown will bring you to the doorstep of this majestic restaurant.

A hotspot for authentic and delectable Chinese fare, you have been warned that this place can get awfully busy and can be a cause of disappointment if you do not turn up nice and early.

Once you have admitted yourself into this restaurant and have successfully found a table, you will be handed the menu. The thick, leather-bound menu is teeming with a delicious array of exotic Chinese food.

After much mental debate and justified indecision, once you have ordered you can finally take a look around to absorb the ambiance. Before long you will reach the surmise that the décor is lack-lustre and the place is slightly cooped up.

The following is a suggestion of one of the myriads of ways you can enjoy your feast on the numerous, perfectly-done dishes at this restaurant.

Your first stop can be the duck soup. Exuding heart-warming fragrance, laden with egg, duck meat and veggies this hot and steamy soup makes a mind-blowing appetiser. The freshness and the perfect blend of spices give you the oomph that refreshes and rejuvenates while enhancing appetite.

Next, you can sample the delightful dish of the prawns stir-fried with veggies. The prawns are plump and tender while the serves are quite generous. The veggies have been cooked just right. The plethora of flavours makes this somewhat ordinary dish quite outstanding. As you will eagerly chow down the food, your tongue will explore and experience the succulence of the prawns and flavorsomeness of the gravy.

The sticky pork ribs certainly deserve a mention. The pork meat is juicy and soft and comes easily off the bones. These sweet-tasting sticky ribs are guaranteed to be an instant hit with your tastebuds.

The menu has many other delightful choices so it will take a while before you can claim yourself to have appraised all that is on offer in this delightful restaurant.

Supper Inn has many let downs. However, the distasteful décor and noisy environment along with the very ordinary, run of the mill, usually rushed service certainly do not rob this place of its fame for serving delectable food. If service and décor are prominent on your list for a terrific restaurant, then Supper Inn is not the place for you. But if you are hankering after exquisite, reasonably-priced food brimming with flavours, then Supper Inn will get all your ticks.

Open 7 days a week until early morning hours, this restaurant entertains patrons for dinner only.
