See Western Force in action at home ground
The Super Rugby (Union Football) is almost half way through the season, so if you haven't seen your local team, Western Force play yet, you only have a few more chances to see them on their local turf at nib Stadium.

I remember going to my first rugby game at Subiaco Oval in 2006 and the whole stadium was filled. Whilst rugby stayed at Subiaco Oval fan numbers dropped off until Western Force made the smart move to nib Stadium. A rectangular pitch is more suited to fans as they are closer to the action.

The Super Rugby is comprised of 5 teams from Australia and 5 teams from New Zealand and 5 teams from South Africa as well. Originally known as Super 12, then Super 14, then Super15, as new teams were added it is now just Super Rugby.

Games still to be played at nib Stadium include Sharks (from Durban) on 17 May and Highlanders (from Dunedin) on 25 May. Also the Sydney Waratahs on 9 June and Canberra Brumbies on 13 July.

Further info on the rugby here. For tickets see here.
