It is going to be a 'furrytastic' festival
Super Furry Festival 2014 - it's going to be a furrytastic festival- it is going to be furry fun, - 25 October, 11-4, Shannon Reserve-Crown St, Surry Hills a furry event bringing a community of animal lovers together, free – a fur-packed day
A free furry festival event that is going to be filled with 'furry' fun for all animal lovers and make sure you bring along your furry friend!
It is one Festival with a mission to help raise awareness and funds to smaller organisations that are lesser known that struggle with funds and awareness and are often run only by volunteers.
Some of these organisations include vets that are providing free services for homeless peoples pets, rescue and re-homing, animal rights and many more.
These organisations help all animals no matter how large or small they are. They help blind, sick, injured, old and special needs animal rescue, along with rehoming, animal rights, pets as therapy, dogs assisting the disabled and rescue farms. So your help will contribute to an amazing cause!
The Festival is a 'market-style' Festival that showcases Sydney's animal welfare and pet rescued animals that include a number of both larger and smaller organisations that provide invaluable services to you and your cute furry friends.
There will be plenty of fun activities, including animal-themed activities to be enjoyed throughout the Festival as well as activities raising funds, lots of goodies to purchase, and maybe you can be a new mum or dad and provide a home to a 'furry animal' and fall in love!
You can become a donor, volunteer, supporter or activist- all information can be found at the Festival.
The Super Furry Festival was formed to fight against the mistreatment and cruelty that many domestic animals face; it is aimed to focus on heartening stories or successful adoption and an optimistic outlook for the future.
The purpose is to encourage adopting pets, providing a positive, fun, joyous event for community engagement, support existing companion animal organisations to achieve their goals, promoting Cruelty Free Products, find happy homes and parents for as many rescue pets as possible, raise funds to donate to organisations and a go-to-place for animal lovers who want to make a difference.
Why not come along with your furry friend for a fur-packed day filled with fun and help make a difference!
