Super Chill is a collection of autobiographical comics drawn by blogger and former Buzzfeed illustrator, Adam Ellis. Adam's other books include Adam Ellis: The Blunder Years, a memoir based on his blog and Tiny Hats on Cats, a book of photographs of kitties in small headwear.
From Super Chill by Adam Ellis
The comics in Super Chill range in topic and tone, from the serious, like Adam's battles with depression and anxiety, to the more frivolous, like the manly pants slap men do to check whether they have their wallet with them, the art of taking a good selfie, or the perils of using way too much coconut oil. He has looked at everything life throws at him, good or bad, with a sense of humour. It reminds me of both The Oatmeal and Sarah's Scribbles.
Super Chill: A Year of Living Anxiously is a quick read that could easily be enjoyed in one sitting. It's a book is sometimes touching, often relatable, and will probably make you laugh.
