Come and celebrate 70's fashion at Rippon Lea Estate as they're holding an exhibition called Super 70s from 27 July to 4 November 2018.

The 1970's is regarded as the most eclectic fashion decade when fashion broke the rules as day wear could be worn as evening wear and feminist politics challenged the trends and social ideologies. Fashion began with vintage bricolage and ended with hippy utopia when punk crashed through disco's hedonism.

Super 70s looks at the fashion Melburnians wore during this iconic decade, whether you were rocking out at a Skyhooks or Sherbet concert, partying at shared house in Carlton or at a social gathering in South Yarra.

During the exhibition duration, a series of curator talks will take place. Click here to secure your place as tickets are limited.

The exhibition runs until 4 November and is open daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Some people would suggest 1970's fashion is something they would like to forget. Come and see for yourself from 27 July to 4 November, 2018 for the Super 70s exhibition.
