Drown your thirst and hunger on a huge floating fish
A new floating bar has popped up on the Yarra for Summer! Supafish has grounded itself on Southbank's shores and will be serving up cocktails and quesadillas.

Bathed in sunshine in the daytime and in neon light at night, Supafish is the perfect summer bar.

It's on a boat and its drink menu (which includes a kombucha cocktail) and food menu are both excellent. The views are amazing, and it is either in the sunshine or under the stars. And, the DJ is good!

A venture by the guys behind Ponyfish Island, it is 38-metres long and has the capacity to fit 300 thirsty Melbournians. Floating on the Yarra River, it can be accessed via Southbank Boulevard.

More than a boat, it is an artwork that is adding neon lights and whimsy to Southbank's shoreline and Yarra River views.

The bar's Mexican-inspired menu was put together by Nick Peters and Matt Lane of Mamasita and Hotel Jesus, and the food on offer is exactly what you want to snack on while enjoying a summer session. The menu is accessed via a QR code and the bar is cashless, so bring your phone charged and your credit card.

The music played aboard the smiling, glowing-eyed fish is courtesy of Smillie and provides the perfect soundtrack to summer.

You have until late February 2018 to get on board Melbourne's latest floating bar brought to you by this dream team. The party starts at 11am every day and ends at 1am every night.
