Rowing WA is hosting its second SunSmart Rowing Open Day 2016 on Sunday, 13 November 2016.

This FREE event will be held at rowing clubs all over WA and is suitable for everyone - even non-rower friends and family!

Bring the whole family and enjoy a memorable day by the water!

All affiliated rowing clubs across the state will open up their doors to the general public from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.

During the day, you can interact with Olympians, national and state representatives and get a behind the scenes look at the sport of rowing and your local rowing club.

Adding to the atmosphere will be a delicious BBQ, interactive activities for all ages and a chance to win some great prizes!

Plus you can enter the state-wide 200m rowing machine challenge go into the draw to win a 'learn-to-row voucher'.

Participating clubs include:

  • Albany Rowing Club - 247 Nanarup Road, Kalgan

  • ANA Rowing Club - Hinds Reserve (Off Milne Street), Bayswater

  • Champion Lakes Boating Club - Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, Kelmscott

  • Curtin University Boat Club - Cnr Elderfiled Rd & Fairview Garden, Salter Point

  • Fremantle Rowing Club - 75 Riverside Road, East Fremantle

  • Margaret River Rowing Club - Margaret River

  • Murdoch University Rowing Club - 4 The Esplanade, Mt Pleasant

  • Perth Rowing Club - 4 The Esplanade, Mt Pleasant

  • Swan River Rowing Club - 2 The Esplanade, Mt Pleasant

  • West Australian Rowing Club - 171 Riverside Drive, Perth

  • University of WA Boat Club - Hackett Drive (Off UWA Carpark 23), Crawley

    Come along and support the clubs by attending this great community event!
