Tropulele is the celebration of tropical music and it's all happening at the Kenilworth Showgrounds in the beautiful Mary Valley - bring your tents, bring your caravans - you're in for a weekend of ukulele festivities.
Thursday, 20 April is jam session night, SCUM style. Pineapple Crush are leading the jam session so bring your ukulele and your Sunshine Coast Ukulele Masters songbook for a night to remember. Please click here for the song list. Club songbooks will be available to purchase at the Festival from the festival merchandise tent for $15 and the songs will be projected onto a big screen. A fun night that everyone can participate in.
Great Raffle Prizes
Raffles will be run daily and drawn every night before the concert starts. Thanks to the Sunshine Coast Ukulele Festival sponsors for the incredible prizes that are up for grabs.
An array of exciting workshops - ukulele, drumming, singing and dance - have been organised by the artists of the Festival and are going to be held on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings as well as the Sunday afternoon.
Every day at the Kenilworth Hotel, open Mic sessions (walk-ups) will be featured from 11.00am to 3.00pm. These sessions are hosted by Harvey Bryce.

On Friday, 22 April, at 10.30am in the Big Top Marquee, the hilariously funny UkeWiz will be featured, hosted by the very comical Geoff Armstrong. The panel will be made up of guest artists with Peter Moss from the UK as the resident UkeWiz musician.
On Sunday 23 April, a tropical Hawaiian Buffet dinner has been organised in the Big Top Marquee, for only $40 per person. This is a night you won't want to miss! Hawaiian Buffet tickets can be bought when booking your festival tickets. Please ensure you have your dinner tickets on the night of the buffet.

On Sunday 23 April participate in Atete's energetic and fun hula dance workshop before being treated to a spectacular Hawaiian Drum and Dance Show in the Big Top Marquee at 5.00pm.
