The Anywhere Festival is back in 2022 and it's bigger and better than ever before! The Anywhere Festival will once again take temporary possession of every day, and sometimes, extraordinary locations, to present an intimate introduction to places and performances.

Ever since the very first Anywhere Festival on the Sunshine Coast and Noosa in 2017, the core of Anywhere Festival has been to connect performers and audiences through performance and storytelling … and stories are nothing, without the place in which they are created and presented.

In 2022 local performance makers have imagined and re-imagined shows in nooks and crannies, in pools, schools, botanic gardens and secret locations … anywhere but, in a theatre. Genres of the Anywhere Festival will encompass music, theatre, circus, the spoken word, cabaret and musical theatre - a smorgasbord of entertainment to delight. A world of labyrinths and mirrors, dreams and nightmares, at the Old Ambulance Station in Nambour


In a world of labyrinths and mirrors, dreams and nightmares, a parade of surreal characters guide the audience on a journey to contemplate how far they have drifted from their true selves, in the name of vanity and social acceptance. A physical-theatre masquerade performance in which provocative multi-lingual narratives blend into a succession of deeply touching poetic moments.

Little Shop of Horrors is one of the longest running Broadway shows about a blood thirsty plant. This charmingly tongue-in-cheek cult classic comedy has been produced worldwide to critical acclaim. A show not to be missed!

Darrrrlings …. haven't you heard? It's the Roaring 20's again and you're invited to sign our dance cards and join in for a fabulous night of jazz, Charleston and prohibition-style giggle water (illegal alcohol) with the hotsy-totsy cast of Speakeasy.

SPEAKEASY is also being performed at EC Venues, Fortitude Valley on the 7 May and 13 May.

Dara Donnelly is a non-binary human, channeling the spirit of Gary Barlow. Dara will have you on the edge of your seat,wanting to know more. Presented as an immersive storytelling experience, There's Something about Dara, is about gender identity, branding and boy-bands.

In the waking hours, Dara identifies as a BRAND DOULA - a trained companion who champions and guides businesses through a significant identity-related experience.
By night, the anguish of growing up as a queer, non-binary boy-band aficionado in a sea of Camilla Kaftans and private school formals is gently cradled by the artful strumming of their acoustic guitar.

'Women & Wine' is a signature event for 2022's Anywhere Festival, hosted by IN Noosa Magazine and held at ALBA Noosa, Peter Kuruvita's fabulous new restaurant in Noosa's Parkridge Resort. Guests will be spoilt with a delectable menu, paired with wines by four female winemakers, whilst enjoying a priceless performance by the talented women of Muses Trio. These exceptional musicians will perform music from female composers on piano, violin and cello, with a smattering of cheeky excerpts from famous female authors.

The 'Women & Wine' event promises a memorable afternoon of intoxicating music, food, women and wine, honouring the extraordinary women and mothers in our lives.

A local public toilet is a place of refuge for five adolescents finding their feet in a world that is moving too fast for them. Questioning whether their parents and society have given them the 'right tools' to face the daunting job of adulthood, they make friends with Throne, the caretaker. But …. is Throne who they think he is? This new play by Virgo Nash is an exploration of how young people decipher the mixed societal messages about wealth and success to discover what is really valuable.

This is the story of Amir, a mouse, seeking asylum. Sewer Rat is a humorous play on a very serious subject. Inspired by the real life story of the Murugappan family from Biloela, this is a play about how conversations, compassion and community will get society further than debate and dispute.

Using anthropomorphic (human characters), Sewer Rat is the third play in the award-winning Rogue Toad trilogy written by Snap Crackle Theatre's Tania Nash.
