Tequila, orange juice and dawn on the Sunshine Coast
Whether you're after a party on the town with plenty of tequila or you're knocking back the OJ in preparation for the massive day ahead, I share with you the best reasons to see the sun rise on the Sunshine Coast with my what's on guide for the month of September.

NIK'S PIK - Caloundra Music Festival

"Music festivals are a dime a dozen, but my experience last year reigns supreme as my all time favourite - and I've been to a few.

It's Caloundra's incredibly eccentric blend of old/new, pop/funk/alternate music at this festival that makes it a refreshing addition to the growing list of music festivals swamping the country. Many don't live up to the fanfare. But after the super success of last year (following on from the 2010 weather disaster), bands clamoured to be a part of the lineup in 2012. Expect the crowds to be twice as huge following the subsequent word of mouth from last year's festival revellers."
