A huge thank you to Sunshine Coast residents, whose continued efforts have assisted in keeping our beautiful region safe and protected during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. Under the Queensland Government's new Stage 2 roadmap, various facilities from public barbecues to playgrounds to swimming holes, are opening up once again. Here's a quick guide to what Sunshine Coast Council facilities are opening up and when on the Sunshine Coast.

Public barbecues will gradually be reopened from Saturday 6 June by Sunshine Coast officers on the ground. Please be patient as your favourite might not open up as quickly as you would like.

Bankfoot House will once again welcome locals and visitors from Friday 19 June, opening on Fridays from 10.00am to 3.00pm for booked tours only.

Please remember that patron numbers are still only up to twenty people maximum and ongoing social distancing and hygiene requirements are still in place.
